Global Transaction Banking Chief of Staff Analyst
based out of
Madrid. As a member of the CoS GTB team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic priorities and driving business performance. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, contributing to the growth and transformation of our business. We’re

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Partner with the Head of GTB Europe and the GTB Management team to define, align and execute the strategic agenda, ensuring consistency with Global and Regional priorities. Coordinate the strategic planning process across GTB Europe, challenging business plans and ensuring alignment between business lines, support functions and overall strategic objectives. Monitor business performance through the definition, analysis and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights on financial results, commercial activity, resource planning and strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain market intelligence, competitive analysis and industry insights to support strategic decision‑making and identify emerging opportunities and risks. Lead annual planning and financial review processes in collaboration with Finance and Control functions, ensuring consistency between strategic objectives, budgets and business performance. Drive governance and management reporting processes, coordinating executive forums, strategic reviews and performance discussions to support effective decision‑making. Support internal communications and engagement activities, contributing to the visibility and understanding of GTB Europe’s strategy, priorities and achievements. What You’ll Bring

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business operations, or corporate development roles. Demonstrated experience in building and executing business plans, including financial modelling and KPI tracking. Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. Experience preparing executive‑level presentations and reports to support decision‑making. Consulting background or experience in a corporate strategy team is a strong plus. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in strategy, finance, or project management (e.g., CFA, PMP) are a plus. Languages
Fluent written and spoken English. Other languages (e.g., Portuguese, French, German) will be a plus. Hard Skills
Solid understanding of financial concepts, business planning, and performance management. High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Soft Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and senior stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proactive mindset, with a hands‑on approach and a strong sense of ownership.
