Strategy & Business Senior Specialist- Digital Grid

PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE ROLEThe Strategy & Business Specialist supports the Digital Grid leadership team in the definition, deployment and execution of the Digital Grid Strategy and Transformation agenda, with a strong focus on software growth acceleration, ARR expansion, operational performance and strategic alignment across regions and functions.
This role acts as a strategic support to Strategy & Transformation Office, providing project management skills, connecting strategy, finance, commercial execution, operations and data technology. The position contributes to long‑term strategic planning, annual business planning, quarterly business reviews, open lines, leadership interlocks and key transformation initiatives, ensuring that strategic ambitions are translated into clear priorities, governance, KPIs and executable action plans.
The role reports into the Digital Grid Strategy & Transformation Office and works closely with Sales and Finance and the Senior Leadership.
Key attributions:Strategy Planning & DeploymentSupport the definition and execution of the Digital Grid multi‑year strategy, including growth ambitions, software & ARR targets, portfolio priorities, and market focus.
Contributes to annual operating plans and strategy deployment, leveraging Hoshin methodology and Digital Grid Transformation Program Levers.
Conduct structured strategic analyses and studies, including market trends, business performance, portfolio mix, and regional dynamics. Support the definition and execution of the Digital Grid multi‑year strategy, including growth ambitions, software & ARR targets, portfolio priorities and market focus.
Performance Management, Governance & Business InsightsWork closely with Strategic Priority and Lever Leaders to drive structured reviews, progress tracking, and reporting on key strategic and transformation initiatives.
Prepare and analyze key business data and reporting, including scorecards, lever KPIs, and financial & operational performance views (e.g. P&L, pipeline, ARR, bookings, etc).
Identify performance gaps, risks and opportunities, translating insights into fact‑based, actionable recommendations for leadership.
Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between strategy, forecasts, pipeline sufficiency, and financial outcomes.
Transformation Execution, Cross‑Functional Alignment & ChangeFacilitate cross‑functional working sessions to resolve interdependencies, unblock execution issues and accelerate delivery of strategic initiatives.
Support execution coordination across regions and functions to ensure consistent transformation progress.
Co‑lead strategic change management and communication plans, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement across stakeholders.
Performance TargetsStrategy & Transformation Progress: contribution to Digital Grid transformation progress against key EM Best‑in‑Class metrics.
Strategy Execution: effectiveness and rigor of strategy deployment and transformation initiative execution.
Business Quality: accuracy, consistency and on-time business performance reporting and insights.
Competency & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in strategy, business planning, consulting, finance, or commercial roles.
Knowledge about project management (internal or external)Strong analytical capabilities, including business performance analysis, financial understanding, and KPI frameworks.
Digital Grid market knowledge: understanding of solutions and software sales processes, utility industry practices and go‑to‑market strategies.
Data analysis and reporting: proficient in analyzing finance and sales data, creating reports, dashboards and forecasts that drive actionable insights to improve sales performance.
Process Improvement: Expertise in identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline strategy deployments and enhance overall execution performance.
Excellent storytelling and executive communication skills (slides, narratives, synthesis).
