Key Responsibilities
Drive technical discussions and decisions, ensuring effective application architecture and programming standards are implemented.
Design and manage processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management, while collaborating with product teams to align technical and business goals.
Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving team productivity and ensuring the delivery of high-impact projects.
Must-have Skills5+ years of Android native Mobile development experience.
Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Familiarity with data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, MVP or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
A full-stack background is a huge plus. Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc is a plus.
A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies. If you have a background in journalism, even betterNice-to-have:AI Tooling Proficiency : Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
This is a position based in Barcelona in a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office)
