Job Title: Director of Origination, Corporate LendingLocation: Madrid (hybrid)The OpportunityA Madrid private debt platform has already proven it can connect debt funds, banks and insurers with mid-market borrowers on tickets of €5m to €70m, and it earns across the life of each financing, not only at close. Having moved beyond renewables project finance into corporate direct lending, the founders now want a senior originator they can put in front of the market and hand origination to. This hire decides how fast that book grows.
The Impact You Will Have
- Own corporate origination across Spain: HoldCo, standard corporate and sponsor-guaranteed structures
- Build a pipeline of mid-market borrowers that banks underserve and advisers rarely reach
- Bring structure and strategy to a small origination and structuring team
