In this role you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ software for aeronautical simulation systems within a Linux environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust, reusable components and contribute to software quality and CI practices. The position emphasizes modern C++ development, modular architecture, and integration into simulation platforms. You will work on complex problems that impact flight simulation capabilities, with a focus on maintainability and performance.

- Design and maintain C++ software components in Linux
- Contribute to architecture decisions to promote modularity and reuse
- Develop, build, debug, and troubleshoot in Linux environments
- Manage dependencies and builds with CMake and Conan
- Version control with Git and collaborative workflows
- Use Docker to ensure consistent development, integration, and testing environments
- Develop, maintain automated tests and participate in verification and CI
- Apply static analysis and code quality tools to improve software
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate software into simulation systems
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience
- Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++14/17 or later) and STL
- Solid Linux experience, including command-line tools and scripting
- Practical experience with CMake
- Experience with Conan for dependencies
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows
- Practical Docker experience for development/testing
- Good understanding of testing, debugging, and code quality practices
- Ability to analyze complex problems, work independently, and own deliverables
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international environment
