As a Tax Specialist you'll support our Spanish finance team with monthly closings (Spanish GAAP, IFRS), tax compliance, annual accounts, and FP&A, working closely with auditors to keep our reporting accurate and efficient.

Your responsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly accounting closings under Spanish GAAPManage the consolidation of monthly reports in line with IFRSReview and manage recurring tax obligations, including VAT, withholding tax, and Corporate Income Tax (CIT)Advise the team on tax-related queries, covering VAT, local taxes, and general tax mattersAssist in the preparation and review of Annual Financial StatementsSupport financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecastingEnsure compliance with internal controls and help maintain a high standard of financial accuracyPrepare for audits and collaborate closely with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processesIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline financial reporting processesSupport the team with ad-hoc financial tasks as neededBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge in Spanish GAAP and IFRS and practical experience with tax compliance (VAT, CIT, withholding tax)Good understanding of SAP and advanced skills in MS tools (Excel)Professional fluency in Spanish and English both verbal and writtenOur workplace:In Madrid Our office is in Torre Europe near Santiago Bernabeu Station, which you can easily reach by metro line 10.
