This role is focused on strategic partner management, ensuring MongoDB’s platform is aligned with our partners’ needs and driving mutual success. This position is ideal for a leader with strong strategic and business acumen, experience in partner ecosystems, and a passion for enabling collaboration and growth.We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Barcelona for our hybrid working model.Role Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategic Partnership Management:Guide a team of Partner Solution Architects, empowering them to develop and maintain impactful relationships within the partner ecosystem, fostering mutual growth and business successCraft and implement strategic initiatives that support partner success with MongoDB’s platform, ensuring alignment between MongoDB’s goals and those of our partnersWork cross-functionally to establish business plans for MongoDB’s partner ecosystem, bringing in resources from product, engineering, and sales to maximize partner engagement and successTechnical Enablement & Market Relevance:Enable partners with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to drive technical alignment, without requiring deep technical expertiseSupport partners in understanding MongoDB’s offerings and assist in aligning MongoDB’s solutions with their own to address market needs and opportunitiesAct as a trusted advisor by reinforcing MongoDB’s value proposition and ensuring partner solutions remain competitive and relevant in the industryBusiness Development & Ecosystem Expansion:Partner with sales and marketing teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities within the partner ecosystem, driving joint business goals and expanding MongoDB’s market presenceGuide the development of co-branded solutions and joint proposals, ensuring mutual alignment and contributing to revenue targetsProactively address partner challenges, identifying solutions that reinforce the value of MongoDB’s offerings in both technical and business contextsCultivate an inclusive, high-performing team by setting high standards, encouraging diversity of thought, and providing mentorship and growth opportunitiesPromote an environment where all team members feel valued and supported, championing best practices in partner engagement and strategic planningBuild an adaptable team culture that is responsive to changing market conditions, competitive dynamics, and partner ecosystem developmentsCross-functional Collaboration & Communication:Act as a conduit between MongoDB’s product, engineering, and field teams, ensuring partners have timely and relevant updates on platform innovations and go-to-market strategiesCommunicate complex business concepts in clear, accessible language to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informedRepresent MongoDB at industry events, partner meetings, and internal forums to strengthen MongoDB’s brand as a partner-focused organizationRequirements:12+ years of experience in partner management, solution architecture, or related roles, with a strategic focus and at least 8-12 years in a leadership capacityStrong background in developing and executing strategies for partner engagement and success, ideally within technology or cloud environmentsExcellent relationship-building skills with an ability to engage and influence senior leaders across diverse partner organizationsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to articulate both business and technical value to a wide range of audiencesCommitment to inclusivity and fostering a diverse, equitable team environmentBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plusWillingness to travel up to 50% to support partner engagementWhat You’ll Gain:An opportunity to drive MongoDB’s impact within the rapidly growing partner ecosystem, shaping the future of data solutions across various industriesExposure to a dynamic, inclusive work environment that values diversity of experience, thought, and backgroundA role in a mission-driven company that prioritizes professional growth, personal wellbeing, and societal impactTo drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone.
