You will lead by example, ensuring that our kitchen staff performs at its best while maintaining a high level of consistency, cleanliness, and food safety.You’ll have the opportunity to bring your culinary passion to life while ensuring that our team operates efficiently, collaborates seamlessly with other departments, and delivers outstanding service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced culinary professional to take the next step in their career with a global hospitality leader.As Kitchen Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient operation during service.Provide leadership and guidance to cooks, kitchen assistants, and other kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.Support training and development of team members, helping them improve their skills and advance their careers.Quality Control: Ensure that food preparation and presentation meet the hotel’s high standards.Monitor portion control, food presentation, and quality before dishes are sent to the dining room.Conduct regular taste tests and inspect dishes for consistency, taste, and appearance.Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards (HACCP).Monitor and enforce food safety practices, ensuring the kitchen is clean, organized, and that all staff follow hygiene protocols.Regularly check storage areas, refrigerators, and dry goods to ensure products are stored properly and in good condition.Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen to ensure efficiency and quality.Coordinate with other hotel departments, particularly Front of House, to ensure seamless service delivery.Ensure that the kitchen is properly stocked and manage inventory, minimizing food waste and ordering supplies as needed.Cost Control: Help manage food costs and maintain budgets.Work closely with the kitchen manager or executive chef to control food costs, waste, and ensure the kitchen operates within budget.Assist in the ordering and receipt of supplies, making sure that deliveries are checked, stored properly, and recorded.Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement: Address operational challenges in the kitchen and implement solutions to improve performance.Lead by example in problem-solving, whether it's dealing with a kitchen breakdown, product shortages, or any guest-specific needs that arise.Continuously identify areas for improvement in kitchen operations, offering suggestions to enhance efficiency or food quality.QualificationsLet’s talk about you:You are passionate about food and hospitality, with a proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced kitchen environment.You have solid culinary skills and enjoy being hands-on in the kitchen, whether it’s helping with food preparation, overseeing plating, or ensuring food quality.You’re methodical, organized, and thrive under pressure—especially during peak service times.You have excellent communication skills and enjoy mentoring and developing your team to achieve their best.You are committed to maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards (HACCP compliance) and ensuring that these standards are consistently followed.Additional InformationBecome part of an exciting new hotel opening in a dynamic and growing location.Work for Accor, a global leader in hospitality, present in 110 countries.Career development opportunities within an international company with a commitment to staff growth.A supportive and inclusive work culture, where we value innovation, passion, and teamwork.Comprehensive training and continuous professional development.Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:Accor embraces diversity and strives to attract, recruit, and promote talent from all backgrounds.
