Your role
As EHS Technician, you will design, develop, implement and oversee the organization's Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) programs and procedures to safeguard employees and the environment. You will confirm compliance of all facilities with EH&S regulations and Carrier requirements.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Inspecting or evaluating workplace environments, equipment or practices to achieve and maintain compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
Performing incident investigations and analyzing data related to it.
Identifying potential risks within the work environment and implementing safety and occupational health policies and programs to maintain a safe workplace.
Conducting EHS inspections and audits, and providing safety orientation, induction courses and other training at site level to maintain employee safety.
Recommending measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
Developing or maintaining hygiene programs such as noise surveys, continuous atmosphere monitoring, ventilation surveys, or asbestos management plans to achieve and maintain consistent standards.
Reviewing plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment to determine whether all safety requirements have been met.
Evaluating ergonomic principles to optimize usability, costs, quality, safety, for workforce performance.
Promoting a culture and continuous improvement in health, safety and environment.

Who we’re looking for
As a minimum you must have:

Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Engineering or relevant scientific/technical area.
Qualification as Superior Technician in Occupational Health.
At least 3 years work experience in a similar role with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation experience.
Language: Spanish fluent, English Upper Intermediate.
Valid EU work permit.
