In this Engineering Director role, you will lead AI-driven improvements across Marketplace, Patient Engagement and Payments, shaping an integrated patient experience at scale. You’ll define the technical strategy, grow and empower a large engineering organization, and embed AI-assisted development as a core delivery discipline. You’ll work closely with Product, Design and executives to align technology bets with patient and provider outcomes in a regulated health context. You’ll drive reliable, secure, and privacy-conscious systems across 13 markets while maintaining speed and quality.

- Set the engineering strategy and roadmap across the three areas, tying bets to product outcomes and measurable impact
- Build a high-performing engineering organization with clear ownership and empowered teams
- Turn AI into a tangible product across search, booking, engagement, care continuity and payments
- Advance AI-assisted development across coding, testing and reviews while safeguarding quality, security and privacy
- Own architecture and design standards for reliability, security, privacy, and scale across markets
- Reduce friction by prioritizing, measuring impact, and addressing root causes of recurring problems
- Shape company-wide technology decisions and align with peers on shared platforms
- Be hands-on: contribute to design, code reviews, and prototyping to unblock hard problems
- Experience leading multi-team engineering organizations through managers
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and clear judgment on their use
- Product mindset linking engineering strategy to customer and business outcomes
- Technical depth in architecture, delivery, reliability and security
- Strong partnership skills with Product, Design, Data and business leaders
- Experience with marketplaces and high-stakes products where privacy and security matter
