Our global team of over 5,000 employees across 18 countries is dedicated to delivering excellence, innovation, and quality in everything we do.Reporting to the Corporate Supply Chain Manager, the Corporate Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing Viscofan's international transportation of goods via road, sea, and air.Key responsibilitiesInternational Transportation Management: Oversee the transportation of goods internationally by road, sea, and air, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.Budget Optimization: Manage and optimize an annual transportation budget of approximately €35-40 million.Team Leadership: Lead and manage an international team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Willingness to travel internationally as required.Logistics Platforms: Utilize and manage logistics platforms to plan, monitor, and optimize the company’s logistics flows.Tender Management: Initiate and manage tender processes for logistics contracts, ensuring competitive and reliable service providers.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate transportation contracts to secure favorable terms and maintain strong relationships with carriers and service providers.Digital Transformation: Lead the digitalization of the transport management system, enhancing efficiency and integration with existing supply chain processes.QualificationsProven solid experience in international freight transportation, including road, sea, and air modalities.Demonstrated experience in managing large transportation budgets (€35-40 million).Experience in launching and managing tenders for logistics contracts.Strong background in negotiating transportation contracts.Proficient in using logistics platforms for planning and optimization.Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience managing international teams.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives within the transport function.Result-oriented with a strong focus on achieving targets and improving efficiency.Excellent communication skills in multiple languages.Strong international mindset and openness to diverse cultures and practices.Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Perks & BenefitsPermanent contract in a growing, agile, and people-oriented company.Professional challenges that will keep you engaged.Competitive salary.Corporate credit card and cell phone.Health insurance discounts.Discounted tickets for kindergarten.Gym discounts.Positive work environment where you’ll experience trust, cooperation, enthusiasm, support for risk-taking, accountability, and equity.Viscofan is an equal opportunity employer.
