Hey thereWe’re Venuu – an international online marketplace helping over 400,000 people discover the perfect event venues every month. Born in Finland, we’re now operating in five countries across Europe, and have just gotten startedWe recently launched our German expansion starting from Berlin and Hamburg, and the pilot brought such amazing results that we decided to build a permanent Germany team in Barcelona and expand across the country. We already hired our first Germany Market Launcher, but thanks to the market's rapid growth, we’ve decided to hire a second person immediatelyThis opening is for an Entry-Level talent ready to kickstart their career in the startup world. This role is all about bringing both venues and event organizers onto the platform to create match made in heaven moments that lead to unforgettable events. No previous experience is required – a great attitude and an eagerness to learn are.
Despite being a fast-moving startup, you won't be thrown into the deep end to survive all alone. We have a proven, highly optimized launch blueprint from our successes across Sweden, Denmark, and Spain. Your colleagues – both from Germany and from other country teams – will be there to help you succeed.
No Spanish or Catalan is required for this role. Fluent German and English are – German you’ll speak with customers and English with colleagues.
Sound good so far? Keep readingWhat You’ll Be DoingBecause this is an early-stage market launch, your role will be highly versatile (welcome to startups). The most crucial part of the job, however, is to bring new venues onboard from all around Germany:
- City-by-City Launching: From our hub in Barcelona, you will drive our expansion into new regions. You’ll do research to map out the best local venues and run outreach campaigns to get the platform off the ground – one city at a time.
- Deploying Launch Deals: To kickstart new cities quickly, you’ll invite the very first local partners to join under highly attractive launch conditions. Because these introductory offers carry very low entry friction, you can bring partners onboard fast with less heavy contract negotiation.
- Onboarding & Listing Creation: Once a venue says yes, you'll set up their account, build their profile content, and make sure their listing looks great. Once a city has a solid number of active venues, your job there is done and you move right along to help launch the next city.
- Web Content & Demand Generation: You’ll also create dedicated website content to ensure event organizers across Germany find Venuu online, thus directing traffic and bookings to our newly onboarded venue partners.
Who We’re Looking ForNo prior corporate sales experience is required – we will teach you the job. Any background in customer-facing roles, retail, hospitality, or call centers is a nice bonus, but what we care about most is your raw potential and drive:
- High Agency & Proactivity: You don't wait around to be told what to do. You take ownership of your work, figure things out, and make things happen independently.
- Work Ethic & Ambition: You have a strong internal drive to succeed, thrive on setting goals, and aren't afraid to put in the hustle required to build something new.
- Curiosity & Coachability: You love learning, ask plenty of questions, actively seek feedback, and constantly look for ways to stretch your comfort zone.
- Fearless Communicator: You have zero fear of picking up the phone, pitching ideas, and navigating objections. You view rejection as just part of the learning process.
- Language
Skills:
Fluent German (written and verbal) to command respect from German business owners, and strong English to collaborate effortlessly with your international teammates.
