Your mission in our teamAs Control Centers Engineer, you'll design and implement sophisticated Control Center Systems for Main Line and Mass Transit projects across the globe. You'll translate complex customer requirements into elegant technical solutions, developing comprehensive specifications, defining software and hardware architectures, and overseeing testing and commissioning procedures. Working at the intersection of engineering excellence and customer success, you'll collaborate with internal teams, partners, and customers to deliver world-class mobility solutions that keep millions of people moving safely and efficiently.
Challenges that await Design & Technical LeadershipManage and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the complete project lifecycleDesign custom Control Center solutions that meet customer, product, safety, and security requirementsDevelop detailed technical specifications and define software and hardware architectures tailored to each projectCreate comprehensive manuals, deployment guides, testing procedures, and commissioning plansImplementation & CommissioningImplement, test, and commission complex hardware and software solutionsLead formal review meetings, communicate project status, and identify and report risks proactivelyEnsure all designs, implementations, and tests meet project requirements and regulatory standardsProvide customer training and support for installation and maintenance activitiesProject & Stakeholder ManagementManage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring goals, objectives, and timelines align with program and organizational roadmapsCollaborate with engineering teams across departments and Siemens Mobility divisionsInterface effectively with stakeholders, partners, and customers on project-specific technical topicsAttend and lead technical meetings with internal and external partiesContinuous Improvement & InnovationProactively identify areas for innovation, process improvement, and cost reduction opportunitiesContribute to the evolution of Control Center solutions through research and development activitiesShare knowledge and best practices across projects and teamsWhat will make your application stand outBachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualificationMinimum 1 year of professional experience in an engineering positionStrong programming knowledge in C and Java languages and environmentsHands-on experience with desktop and server platforms based on Windows and UNIX/LinuxFluent Spanish (spoken and written)English language proficiency at B2 level or equivalent (mandatory)Goal-driven mindset with strong customer orientation and team leadership capabilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiencesWillingness to travel worldwide when required by project needsYou'll thrive even more if you also bringKnowledge of CENELEC or similar standards in product development lifecycleBackground in railway systems and technologyAdvanced experience developing in C and Java programming languagesCybersecurity-related knowledge and understanding of secure system designExperience with control system architecture and real-time systemsFamiliarity with agile project management methodologiesKnowledge of digital transformation in mobility and transportation sectorsExperience with configuration management and version control toolsTrack record of successful project delivery in international, multidisciplinary environmentsWhat do
