She/He will lead a sales group for Laboratory Solutions (LS) in south Spain, fully focused on driving growth, market share, and customer success across the LS portfolio. This role provides strategic direction, coaching, and operational guidance to the team, ensuring strong execution of the sales strategy.

The Sales Manager will work in close partnership with the Country Business Lead to define the sales approach, align resources, and secure competitive positioning of LS solutions in the Spanish market. A central element of this role is ensuring best-in-class CRM discipline, guaranteeing pipeline visibility, data accuracy, and actionable insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management


  • Lead, inspire, and develop the regional sales group to achieve and exceed business objectives.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations, fostering accountability and professional growth.
  • Build a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on customer excellence and continuous improvement.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats, turning insights into actionable sales plans.
  • Support the preparation and negotiation of complex tenders and contracts, ensuring competitive positioning.

Customer Engagement & Market Development


  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with KOLs, strategic accounts, and decision-makers.
  • Promote the value proposition of Atellica and the wider LS portfolio in customer meetings and industry events.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure exceptional customer experience.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure alignment and effective collaboration between the regional sales group and the broader commercial organization
  • Provide structured feedback to Country Business Lead, Marketing, CRM and other stakeholders on local execution, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.

Operational Excellence & CRM Discipline

  • Ensure rigorous CRM adoption and discipline across the team, with complete, accurate, and timely updates of opportunities, pipeline, and customer interactions.
  • Drive forecast accuracy and sales visibility through CRM analytics and reporting.
  • Use CRM insights to coach the team, prioritize opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market intelligence within CRM tools to strengthen positioning and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of proven sales experience in the diagnostics, medtech, or healthcare sector, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory solutions (clinical chemistry, immunology, hormones, hematology, hemostasis, allergy, plasma proteins, or related).
  • Demonstrated success in managing teams and driving sales growth.
  • Proven expertise in CRM adoption and pipeline management, with a track record of improving data quality and sales forecasting.
  • Experience in tender processes and knowledge of the Spanish healthcare system.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
