Our team gathers the best talents to offer our customers an excellent service for each of our business lines: Property, Casualty, Financial Lines and Specialty.Within the Operations department of AXA XL Iberia, you will join the Middle Office team that aims to provide a high-quality service for our clients, creating and activating insurance coverage on complex risks.As Underwriting Assistant you will be responsible for the administrative processes of the end-to-end policy life cycle to be run efficiently at a high quality to serve internal and external clients.Responsibilities:Contracts handling in an efficient and correct way for new and established Specialty businesses: by checking the conditions of acceptance of the customer’s request, interacting with the customer if necessary, by using various available data sources to make the right decision and give the right advice to the broker / clientby following up until contract signing or refusalby developing draft contracts / amendments that fit with customer needsby modifying coverage concepts if desired by the client / brokerby preparing contracts which are beyond authority and discuss them with the team leader.by monitoring, planning, and issuing contractual documents (policies, endorsement and certificates)Support Credit Control team in the cash allocation for accounts and the monitoring of outstanding unpaid premiums.Manage information: preparing and sending weekly reportspreparing premium flowspreparing and sending local policies instructionscontrolling Gross and Net portfoliocontrolling data qualityFollow up new guidelines published for policy administration and Global Programs management.You will report to the Team Lead Specialty - Operations.Qualifications:Fluent Spanish and English (minimum C1 level CEFR)Strong and effective organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.Effective relationship management with internal clients, and brokers as well as across the AXA XL and AXA Group enterprise.Ability to adapt and respond to a changing environment with flexibility and innovation.Good team player, capable of self-learning and able to work within a team environment.Proactive attitude facing challenges.Proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Location:ES-MD-MadridWork Locations:ES Madrid Plaza de la Lealtad 4 1st and 2nd Floors Madrid 28014Schedule:Full-timeJob Type:StandardAXA XL is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any colleague or applicant for employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, military status or any other category protected by local law.
