You’ll work on clearly scoped software engineering projects involving real-world codebases and development challenges. Projects may include debugging, feature development, refactoring, migrations, testing, and technical review.
This is a strong fit for experienced engineers looking forflexible, remote project work alongside other professional commitments .
What We’re Looking For2–7 years of professional software engineering experienceStrong proficiency in PythonProfessional experience with JavaScript or TypeScriptWorking knowledge of at least one additional language such as Java, C#, or GoBackend or full-stack experience with production systemsExperience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testingAbility to confidently navigate and debug large, multi-file codebasesExperience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrationsAdvanced professional written proficiency in EnglishStrong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skillsWhat You’ll Work OnDebug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebasesImplement new backend or full-stack functionalityRefactor and migrate existing systemsDevelop and extend unit and integration test suitesWrite clear technical specifications and reference implementationsReview code and technical submissions for correctness and qualityIdentify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modesValidate that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are alignedProjects are individually scoped, allowing contributors to take on work based on theiravailability and expertise .
