In this senior role, you will design, automate and operate enterprise-scale cloud platforms supporting critical trading systems. You will drive platform modernization and reliability in a regulated financial environment, partnering with global teams to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions. You’ll shape DevOps strategy across Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC, focusing on performance, security and release velocity. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at a leading hedge fund technology team.

- Architect and manage cloud-native platforms on Azure and/or AWS
- Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation (GitLab)
- Deploy and optimize Kubernetes clusters
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates (Terraform or similar)
- Establish observability with monitoring/logging/alerts
- Root-cause analysis for critical incidents
- Automate tools to boost developer productivity and release velocity
- Ensure security, compliance and high availability in multi-clouds
- Collaborate with development teams on deployment strategies
- Contribute to reliability engineering and disaster recovery testing
- 15+ years IT infra/DevOps experience
- 7+ years on public clouds (Azure and/or AWS)
- Experience with production-grade, high-availability apps
- Deep Kubernetes and container orchestration knowledge
- Terraform and CI/CD (YAML pipelines) expertise
- Monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Splunk) familiarity
- Python coding (required) and a statically-typed OO language (e.g., Java or C#)
- Security, cloud networking and API integration familiarity
- Proven incident root-cause analysis and troubleshooting
