Experteer Overview As a Senior CI/CD Automation Engineer at Roche, you will evolve a GitHub-based CI/CD platform to deliver secure, scalable software for diabetes care solutions. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable reliable delivery to AWS via GitOps, shaping reusable assets and best practices. You’ll mentor colleagues, improve testing and security gates, and help teams ship high-quality medical software with patient impact. This role combines hands-on engineering with a mission-driven culture that values diversity and open dialogue.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Build and evolve GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and reusable assets (workflows, actions, templates).
- Implement GitOps practices with self-hosted runners and AWS authentication (OIDC).
- Develop and maintain containerized applications (Docker/Podman) and multi-arch builds.
- Integrate security tools (SAST/SCA) and define quality gates (unit/integration/E2E tests).
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and QA to standardize delivery practices.
- Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and promote code quality and best practices.
- Manage artifacts and registries (JFrog Artifactory, Amazon ECR) and support release processes.
Responsabilidades
- 7+ years in automating CI/CD pipelines (backend, web, API, Lambdas, containers).
- Expert knowledge of GitHub Actions and GitOps with AWS integration.
- Proven ability to create reusable GitHub assets (workflows, actions, templates).
- Strong Python proficiency (clean, tested, reusable code).
- Hands-on AWS experience (IAM, ECR, EC2, Lambda).
- Experience with container building and artifact management (Docker, Podman, QEMU, ECR, Artifactory).
- Experience with Java (Maven/Gradle) and Node.
Js applications.
- Defining testing strategies and quality gates; integrating SAST/SCA tools (SonarQube, Snyk).
- Excellent English communication; teamwork mindset; mentoring ability.
