We are seeking a flexible and highly motivated Reinsurance Accountant to join this dynamic, international environment. The role offers excellent training and integration opportunities. Your responsibilities: Check reinsurance statements of account based on reinsurance terms and conditions, verifying calculations for treaty and facultative business (direct and via broker). Process statements of account in SAP systems. Arrange payments and request outstanding balances from clients. Collaborate closely with Underwriters, Client Managers, and the International Organization. Ensure data quality for quarterly closing and annual financial statements at the contract level. Manage correspondence with cedents and brokers. Analyze and present reinsurance and accounting matters to stakeholders. Take responsibility for a specific group of clients in Madrid. Participate in global projects and working groups. Your profile: Degree in administration, finance, economics, or business sciences, with professional experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance and accounting. Proficiency in MS-Office, especially Excel, and SAP. Strong analytical skills and accuracy with figures. Self-confident, dedicated, and capable of working independently. Team-oriented with a desire to expand and share knowledge. Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence. Fluent in Spanish and English; Italian is a plus. Willing to take on future roles in Claims Handling and Technical Accounting.
