If you enjoy building reliable cloud platforms, automating infrastructure and solving complex technical challenges,come join usWhat will your mission be?As aGCP Cloud Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization and continuous improvement of Google Cloud environments, ensuring that our platforms are secure, scalable, reliable and cost-efficient.
Your main responsibilities will include:Administer and operate Google Cloud Platform environments, covering Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, IAM, Governance and Monitoring.
ManageGoogle Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), including users, groups, service accounts, roles and organization-level policies.
Design and maintain secure access models followingleast-privilege and cloud security best practices .
Deploy, configure and maintain GCP resources such asCompute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud SQL and managed cloud services .
ManageGCP networking, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, routes, private connectivity and hybrid connectivity where required.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks usingTerraform, Google Cloud CLI, APIs and scripting languages such as Python .
Support and maintainCI/CD pipelinesfor automated and reliable cloud deployments.
Implement and maintainInfrastructure as Code (IaC)practices across GCP environments.
Monitor platform health, performance and availability usingGoogle Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging and alerting capabilities .
Troubleshoot and resolvecomplex cloud infrastructure incidents, outages and performance issues, coordinating with engineering and project teams when required.
AnalyzeGoogle Cloud billing and usage, identifying optimization opportunities and underutilized resources.
Contribute toFinOps and cost optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, resource governance and budget monitoring.
Implement and maintaincloud security and governance controlsacross GCP projects and organizations.
Collaborate with developers, Data Engineers, Architects, Project Managers and business stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
Create and maintaintechnical documentation, operational procedures, architecture documentation, contingency plans and runbooks .
Continuously evaluate newGoogle Cloud services and platform capabilitiesto improve our cloud and data environments.
What will make you successful in this role?3+ years of experience administering Google Cloud Platform (GCP)or equivalent experience in cloud infrastructure administration.
Strong understanding ofGoogle Cloud architecture and core services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM and Security.
Solid knowledge ofGCP networking, VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, routing and private connectivity.
Experience managingIAM, service accounts, roles and organizational policies .
Experience withInfrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
Experience withGoogle Cloud CLI (gcloud), APIs and automation.
Experience withDevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment automation .
Experience withGoogle Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Loggingor equivalent observability platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues acrossGCP infrastructure and cloud-based applications .
Understanding ofcloud security, governance and cost optimizationprinciples.
Strong scripting and automation skills, preferably withPython .
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
We also consider a plus:Google Cloud certifications, such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
Experience withBigQuery, Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc or Composer .
Experience withGoogle Cloud data and analytics platforms .
Experience withKubernetes and containerized workloads .
Experience withTerraform and GitOps practices .
Knowledge ofFinOps and cloud cost optimization .
Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments, particularlyGCP and AWS/Azure .
Experience with security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
