You'll troubleshoot and ensure peak performance of both Enterprise Applications and Windows Server Operating Systems. As part of our global support team, you'll handle change activities, incidents, problems, and patching tasks. Your goal: maintain effective application and server operations for users, business units, and customers while adhering to procedures.Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day administration, support, backups, maintenance, and monitoring of financial applications and server environmentsAdminister applications and servers to ensure reliability and availability within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Monitor application and server resource usage, including CPU, disk capacity, and I/O, and collaborate with the Monitoring team to ensure correct thresholds and monitoring proceduresProvide monthly capacity reports detailing usage trends and peaksCollaborate with departmental teams to plan, schedule, and execute system improvement and enhancement projectsOffer first-line support for problem resolution and collaborate with vendors for fault analysis and escalation as necessaryAssist in application and server patching and remediation effortsAdhere to the company's Conduct Code in all work-related matters and promptly report any violations or suspected violations to the appropriate company representativeDemonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across departmentsCommit to continuous learning and professional development opportunitiesQualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications and Windows/Linux server environmentsMicrosoft/Linux server certification such as MCSA or MCSE would be advantageousProficiency in Microsoft technologies including Distributed File Systems (DFS), File Server Resource Manager (FSRM), Remote Desktop Services, File and Storage Services (iSCSI management), and Server BackupWorking knowledge of Oracle Database (RDBMS, Oracle PL/SQL) and TOADFamiliarity with .Net, JavaScript, and VB ScriptsExperience with virtualized environments, preferably VMWare and CitrixAbility to implement and maintain systems in a high availability, 24/7 technical environmentKnowledge of methods and techniques for protecting systems and ensuring data security (information security)Proven multitasking ability with strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to escalate issues when necessarySelf-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionExcellent written communication skills for internal and external documentation and presentationsEffective verbal communication skills, capable of communicating effectively at all levelsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common business documentsStrong team player who collaborates and seeks assistance when needed to meet project deadlinesHighly productive and flexible in approaching tasks and interacting with individualsWillingness to go the extra mile to keep projects on track and commit additional time if requiredDemonstrates a positive, "can-do" attitude and is well-regarded by peersApproachable and able to interact effectively with other teams and departmentsMaintains confidentiality of customer and company informationWillingness to participate in 24x7 on-call support as part of a team rotationParticipation in regular patching activities.Why CubeMatch? Being part of a team that values integrity and ethical conduct above all else.Collaborating with colleagues who are passionate about driving innovation and positive change.Joining an inclusive and diverse workplace where your contributions are recognized and appreciated.Accessing professional development opportunities to grow and advance in your career.Our ValuesRelationships & Reputation: We engage with our employees, associates, and clients to build strong, trusted, long-lasting relationships that deliver value.Expertise: We invest in our employees & associates through learning & development, communication, and engagement to allow us to have the best talents to match our clients’ needs.Always evolving: We create a working environment of respect, a culture of listening and learning; while always evolving to ensure we align with the industry's latest needs.
