Senior Ground Segment Engineer (GALILEO or EGNOS)Want to shape the future of#EUSpaceProgramme?If you have experience in Space projects such as#Galileo ,#EGNOS ,#SSTor if you have#Cyberor#ITbackground…We have good news for you We have exciting opportunitiesCETRA BASEis currently looking for Senior Ground Segment Engineers with experience in GALILEO or EGNOS to supportEUSPA, the EU Agency for the Space Programme.
Positions can be based at any of the EUSPA sites in Spain or France.
Tasks and ResponsibilitiesFollow-up the ground segment deployment activities of new system release/evolutionSupport to operations from anomalies root cause investigation to validation; Review of the classification of observation reports, the maintenance reports, and anomalies in view of the preparation of the anomaly review board; Definition of criticality/urgency for anomaly resolution, setting adequate priorities and ensuring and monitoring the timely management by industry of anomalies and non-conformance reports; Contribution to the analysis of anomalies raised by the service operator and participate to the relevant ARB/NRB for aspects related to ground segment; Participation to the ground segment reviews and CCB relevant to the tasks under her/his responsibility; Review the operational validation strategy and outcomeReview of the relevant KPIs and deliverables, and propose actions and improvements to address issues and opportunities.
Essential qualifications and experienceUniversity degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science5+ years of experience in Space projects5+ years of experience on a similar roleExcellent team workerAbility to work in a multicultural teamProficiency level in English, both written and spokenEligible for security clearanceAvailability to travel within EuropeSecurityIn line with security requirements of the EU Space programme the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.
This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
