Technical Manager – Digital Banking – Madrid, Spain

We are seeking an innovative Technical Manager to lead and manage a team in the Digital Banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital banking solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for driving digital transformation in the financial services industry.

Hybrid mode - 3 days per week at the office

As a Digital Banking Technical Manager, you will pursue the implementation of our digital banking capabilities, ensuring that our technology meets the evolving needs of our customers.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, secure, and user-friendly digital banking experiences. Your mission will be to enhance customer satisfaction, drive digital adoption, and maintain a competitive edge in the market through innovative technology solutions.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Lead the technical team providing direction, mentorship, and support.
  2. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of digital banking platform and applications.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology strategy and roadmap.
  4. Prioritize the backlog items based on value.
  5. Ensure the development team focuses on the most important tasks.
  6. Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital banking initiatives.
  7. Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the technical team.
  8. Translate product managers’ strategies to tasks for development.
Role Requirements
  1. A degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  2. A minimum of 4+ years of experience in building business-critical products and launching them on the market, although candidates with other relevant experience will be considered.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both direct and indirect talent effectively.
  4. Proven leadership skills for leading teams and facilitating problem-solving.
  5. Ability to communicate updates concisely to leaders at all levels.
  6. Skilled in executing strategic roadmaps across organizations to deliver planned results.
  7. Strong ability to lead, manage and motivate cross-functional teams, think creatively, and act with agility.
  8. Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
  9. Fluent English level.
