Join us.Senior Business Development Manager, Hotel Strategic AccountsTravel Partnerships and Media helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.Are you a problem solver who loves to get results? Expedia Group Media Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to create and implement business strategies to optimize our largest hotel partnerships on a local, regional and global basis.In this role, you will:Develop strategies to maximize partner profit and drive the best results for our largest and most significant hotel partners.Work closely and constantly to improve our relationships with internal partners impacting and influencing our external partners.Own communication to identify and optimize marketing and promotional opportunities and ensure fulfillment of all contractual obligations.This role is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Hotel Strategic Accounts; The role needs to be based in Europe.You will lead top global hotel partners to improve revenue targets, uncover new revenue opportunities, achieve contractual commitments, and ensure the overall partnership increases total media revenue by implementing growth initiatives. You will collaborate with partners to discover new opportunities and drive incremental business with existing partnerships.Sales Strategy:Craft and execute strategies for specified hotel accounts to grow Media Solutions business. Responsible for identifying key opportunities and selling the benefits of working with Expedia Group as an advertising partner of choice. This includes representing the advertising strategy of the partner to develop campaigns that meet their needs.Sales Negotiation:Own and lead the sales process to improve existing partnerships (through up selling of product and services and sales optimization) and to build strong, long-term strategic commercial partnerships, formalized in contractual agreements. Navigating increased levels of management and understanding the political pressures of the partner's organization to reach positive results is a required qualification.Internal Partner Management:Work across internal functions (i.e., Strategic Accounts (HEP)), to optimize revenue opportunities, including our product teams to define new product offerings and work with management on sales strategy. Other interactions include Marketing, Media Planning & Lodging Partner Services groups.Commercial Results/Performance:Define and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets to Media Solutions shown through ongoing insightful measurement and happiness of existing partnerships.Experience and qualifications:Political Acumen: Understood and navigated the political challenges with partners organization, collaborated with senior leadership to drive positive outcomes and revenue generation.Complex Deal Expertise: Provides guidance on complex deals that has required customized, innovative solutions, and out-of-the-box thinking to ensure successful negotiations.Relationship Building: Effectively built and managed relationships with senior-level partners, both internally and externally, to foster collaboration and long-term success.Issue Resolution: Skillfully navigated partner challenges to resolution, maintaining positive partnerships and ensuring the success of all stakeholders involved.Influential Selling: Employed consultative selling techniques to influence partners, demonstrating the value of our solutions and services.Revenue Generation: Identified revenue opportunities through analysis, consistently exceeding revenue targets and contributing to the organization’s growth.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, preferably related to business, marketing, communications.5+ years of shown negotiation experience and/or senior account management working autonomously.
