From earthmoving and civil infrastructure to training and workforce development, we’re delivering major projects across metropolitan and regional Australia — and we’re just getting started.The OpportunityWe’re on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Senior Advisor - People and Culture to join our dynamic team at our Malaga, WA head office.Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you’ll play a hands‑on, influential role supporting our leaders and workforce, helping to shape positive employee experiences while delivering practical HR and IR solutions across the business.If you enjoy being trusted, rolling up your sleeves, and making a real impact — this role is for you.What You’ll Be DoingProviding expert HR and IR advice to managers and employees across the organisationPartnering with business leaders to understand workforce and industrial needs and deliver tailored solutionsManaging employee and industrial relations matters , including grievances, disciplinary processes and investigationsAssisting with industrial instruments , award and agreement interpretation, and supporting bargaining activities as requiredDesigning and delivering HR initiatives that boost engagement, performance and capabilityEnsuring compliance with employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and company policiesMaintaining and improving HR systems and processes, including SuccessFactors implementationSupporting a strong, inclusive culture aligned with Carey Group valuesWhat We’re Looking For5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR advisory role, ideally within a medium to large organisationDemonstrated experience in Industrial Relations , including award/EA interpretation and managing IR mattersStrong working knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practice and HR information systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levelsProven experience managing complex employee and industrial relations casesA degree in Human Resources, Business or a related disciplineThe ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environmentWhat’s In It For You?Competitive remuneration based on skills and experienceAccess to a range of employee benefitsThe opportunity to take the next step in your HR career and make a real differenceOccasional site travel will be required, providing exposure to the diverse projects and people that make Carey Group unique.Carey Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
