We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join us on a fixed term basis to lead large-scale digital, business change, and English publishing programmes. As a Programme Manager you will: Ensure the programmes are delivered to the agreed schedule, budget and scope, while delivering high quality outcomes and organisational benefits against the strategic aims of the business. Work closely with the Programme Executive, Programme Sponsor and Workstream Leads to plan and manage the implementation of these programmes, with particular focus on benefits, dependency and risk management. Be responsible for the high-level tracking, capturing and management of the overall budget, status, changes and risks while reporting these to the programme team and wider senior stakeholders. Foster a culture of collaboration, working openly and effectively across teams to achieve shared success. Please see the attached job description. About you To be a successful Programme Manager, you will be educated to a degree level or have relevant professional experience. You will have strong collaboration, negotiation and consensus building skills and have expertise in risk management and change control. Additional knowledge, experience and skills include: Experience of programme management for large complex programmes, multi-faceted business change and/ or technical development projects Experience working with technical teams with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of agile development (scrum) teams. Knowledge of both Agile and waterfall methodologies Ability to motivate individuals, influence key stakeholders and build strong, effective alliances across multiple stakeholder groups. Excellent analysis, reporting and problem-solving skills.
