Business Development Lead – Biotech (Barcelona, hybrid model) A biotechnology company specializing in the design, development, and application of molecular‑modeling software for the discovery and development of new industrial enzymes is looking for a Business Development Lead with experience in life sciences / biotech / biopharma. Role Mission Lead B2B business development within the life sciences/biotech space, autonomously managing the full sales cycle —from prospecting to negotiation and closing—while building long‑term, trust‑based customer relationships. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Prospecting & Market Development Identify and proactively reach out to key decision‑makers (e.g., R&D Directors, Process Chemistry Leads, Sourcing Heads). Execute outreach strategies to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. Share feedback with product and strategy teams regarding market trends and key industry pain points. 2. Full Sales‑Cycle Management Independently manage the entire commercial process: qualification and needs assessment, proposal development and presentation, negotiation, and closing. Clearly articulate the value of the enzyme discovery and engineering platform, tailoring the message to each client’s needs. Lead complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders (R&D, Procurement, Legal) and manage high‑value deal closures. 3. Client Relationship Management &
