It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, was a founding and hosting member of the former European HPC infrastructure PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe), and is now hosting entity for EuroHPC JU, the Joint Undertaking that leads large‑scale investments and HPC provision in Europe. The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress. BSC combines HPC service provision and R&D into both computer and computational science (life, earth and engineering sciences) under one roof, and currently has over 1000 staff from 60 countries. Job Details Job Reference: 745_25_MNG_F_TA Position: Junior Accounting Officer Closing Date: Sunday, 01 February, 2026 Key Duties Daily Accounting Entry: Process and record basic accounting entries (e.g., revenue, expenses, commissions) in the SAP ERP system. Administrative Accounting Tasks: Carry out document management and digital filing of accounting information. Official Requirement Attention: Collect and submit information requested by official bodies, such as the National Institute of Statistics (INE), under supervision. Specific Process Management: Record accounting transactions related to recurring administrative processes (e.g., reimbursement fee petition, payroll certificates). General Support: Provide general administrative support to the Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams (e.g., monthly staff leave review,
