AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

As a Partner Sales Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of AWS across key consulting and technology partners and their customers in the Enterprise segment. You will be an integral part of the Enterprise Sales organization and responsible for working with cross-functional teams to create and execute a strategic partner sales plan for Enterprise, drive top line revenue growth and end customer adoption through partner engagement. The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them engage at the CXO level, and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with customers and account management. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions with partners.

Responsibilities
  1. Have a holistic view of the Partner Community in a local market, a deep understanding of the partner capabilities and solutions that will delight customers.
  2. Advise customers and commercial sales teams on the value of partners, engagement and recommend qualified partners to support customer needs.
  3. Expand existing AWS footprint as well as drive new customer engagements with partners to grow overall revenue with a focus on business outcomes.
  4. Become a trusted member of the sales team in Czechia and Slovakia to own deal execution with partners, leveraging Partner programs and coaching partners on best practices.
  5. Work closely with Partner Solution Architects (PSA) to ensure partners deliver quality results and work with Partner Development Managers (PDM) on engaging their partners in the local market.
  6. Work with Consulting and Technology Partners in CZ/SK.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience in end-customer sales in CZ/SK and CEE on cloud or in the software industry.
  2. Prior direct sales experience with sales and/or technical DNA to coordinate field teams and develop and close high-profile deals.
  3. Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and excellent familiarity with Enterprise customer decision making processes.
  4. Effective verbal and written communications skills, excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
  5. Willing to travel to meet with customers and partners.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Prior experience working with AWS Consulting Partners and/or Technology partners.
  2. Understanding of AWS, cloud architecture and infrastructure.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and an entrepreneurial spirit, including the ability to work independently and autonomously.
  4. Experience within the Enterprise software development industry and/or IT outsourcing is highly desired.
  5. English language proficiency plus Czech/Slovak languages an advantage.
