JOB DESCRIPTION
Sr Quality Engineer
- Customer LiaisonWhat can you expect? Adient (NYSE: ADNT) is a global leader in automotive seating. With more than 65,000 employees in 29 countries, Adient operates ~200 manufacturing/assembly plants worldwide. We take our products from research and design to engineering and manufacturing — and into millions of vehicles every year. Interface between customer JIT and Trim production plantJIT onside problem analyzes and close feedback to Trim plantVerification of improvement action at JIT plantsCoordination of sorting activities at JIT plantsSupporting local Trim resident engineers with technical knowledge, organization firewall set up and feedback loopsBoundary book set up between OEM, JIT and Trim plantKPIs: customer satisfaction JIT, IRPPM, ICPPM, Firewall head count JIT,Firewall audits at JIT
- incl. Technical education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification).
Proven professional experience in quality management within the automotive industry.
Experience in customer quality management and direct communication with OEMs and Tier 1 customers.-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis.-Good knowledge of automotive quality management tools and methodologies, e.g. Fluent English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.-As a true global company, our leaders and employees come from various cultures across the world.
