Learning Consultant

Overview Learning Consultant at ADP. The Learning Consultant is responsible for delivering instructor-led (onsite and virtual) training on GlobalView technical features and functional aspects of all solutions to enable effective use of systems, tools, and processes by learners. The role may include new hire orientation/organizational overview sessions and participation in rotational training assignments. The Learning Consultant provides input to the instructional design team for enhancements and updates to training curricula and may participate in instructional development by testing/editing materials and giving feedback on class flow, hands-on exercises, and knowledge checks. The consultant may also provide consultative input to address client and associate needs and gaps in relation to task focus and completion, and conduct field observations and field activities such as side-by-side calls and roundtables to drive engagement and ensure content remains relevant and effective. Responsibilities Deliver functional, technical, and/or soft skills training to associates and clients with a focus on GV product. This may include new hire orientation, rotational training, product curricula, enhancement curricula, and training related to new system releases, new tools or processes, and role-specific changes. Apply adult learning theory and facilitation skills to adapt delivery to learners and manage group/individual dynamics. Respond to participant questions with knowledge of products, business processes, and roles/responsibilities. Deliver core orientation and service skills training in addition to product training. Effectiveness Consult with instructional designers on curricula effectiveness and recommend changes to existing classes or development of new classes to enhance associate performance and client experience. Identify opportunities to integrate or blend curricula across products to enhance scalability and operational efficiencies. Functional Knowledge Maintain up-to-date proficiency on products and processes used by the Learning & Performance organization (e.g., virtual training tools, classroom preparation, and enrollment tracking via the Learning Management System). Stay current on ADP products and services and maintain relevant certifications. Keep abreast of industry trends in service skills, communications, and facilitation skills. Consulting Understand associate performance goals and advise on how to apply tools and processes to perform roles effectively. Provide feedback to participants' managers or leaders on skill gaps and recommend solutions. When applicable, understand client needs and advise on how to utilize products and services to meet business needs, including best practices to optimize system performance. Lead learning content development and delivery projects specific to the supported business, creating customized curricula as needed. Administrative Perform administrative responsibilities such as Learning Management System tasks, survey distribution, status reporting, and time tracking. Monitor Assist in overseeing daily Learning Delivery operations, implement best practices (e.g., virtual delivery techniques, certification standards, facilitation practices), monitor project status, and report metrics to leadership. Provide evaluations/observations feedback as needed. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Training, Education, Human Resources, Business, or related/technical fields. Minimum experience: 1–3 years in payroll support service, implementation, or related experience with GV and pertinent HCM products/solutions. Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
