We are looking for a Senior Microsoft BI Consultant (SQL SSIS) -(International Project, Hybrid Work, Barcelona, 2/3 days on-site).

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement robust ETL solutions using SQLServer Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses, data marts, and other data storage solutions.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packages to improve performance and reliability.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance data models, data integration workflows, and data quality processes.
  • Implement data governance and best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Prepare documentation, including data flow diagrams, ETL design, and process documentation.
  • Provide support and training to end users on BI tools and technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in BI and data management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a BI Consultant or similar role, with a focus on SQL Server and SSIS.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), T-SQL, and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schema design.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Availability to work from Barcelona Office, 2/3 times a week.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
