Overview Thermal Works LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Field Service Technician to join our team, working directly with the Thermal Works team as well as local contractors, focusing on Startup/Commissioning and Service for all Thermal Works equipment. We are a company focused on integrated cooling systems for data centers and commercial buildings that reduce energy demand, water consumption and cost of cooling. Location: Madrid or Barcelona, Spain (On-Site). Travel: 75% within Spain.Key Responsibilities Participate in a comprehensive training program at Thermal Works' U.S. headquarters.Manage Preventive Maintenance and Service schedules.Perform on-site quality control for the installation of Thermal Works products.Perform all preventative maintenance and service needs for clients.Be available to take emergency issues when on call.Monitor service software closely to ensure services are met on a timely schedule.Collaborate with different departments within the company for product development and improvement.Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repair of Thermal Works equipment.75% travel requirement within Spain.Qualifications and Skills Education / Experience: Technical or Vocational Degree/Certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or Electromechanical Systems (Spain).F-Gas Category I Certification is required for handling fluorinated gases.3–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems for mission-critical infrastructure (data centers, healthcare, or industrial facilities).Experience with chillers and CRAH units (installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting).Familiarity with EU safety standards, PED, EN 378 refrigeration safety norms.Ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and system optimizations in live environments.Baseline circuit analysis and troubleshooting of electrical components; knowledge of hydronic systems; ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems; understanding refrigeration theory and applied sciences.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.Fluent in English and Spanish; additional European languages are a strong plus.Ability to read drawings at a basic level.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.Work Environment and Perks Flexible, autonomous work environment with opportunities for growth.Collaborative, respectful, and excellence-driven culture.Opportunity to travel and make a positive impact on people and the planet.Join Endeavour Energy and the broader Inspired Infrastructure ecosystem.Reports to: Field Deployment and Commissioning Manager.Location: Madrid or Barcelona, Spain.
