After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.About The RoleThe Order Taker is responsible for receiving, recording, and processing food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serving as the first point of contact between guests and the in‑room dining team, the Order Taker plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and personalized guest experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of menu offerings and service standards.What You Will DoAnswer telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest’s order according to Four Seasons Standards, describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste, and preparation methods.Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point‑of‑sales system; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order.Coordinate delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality; properly and accurately close guest checks; record guest charges and gratuities.Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.Coordinate amenity delivery by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate fashion.Coordinate minibar replenishment procedures through the Resort’s communication tools.Stock and order items.Assist in setting tray tables for delivery.Take and process any other guest requests.Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed.Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.What You BringHigh School Diploma or equivalentPreferred experience in a luxury hotel in food and beverage or related workStrong written and oral skills and communicate professional and accurately via telephoneAbility to multi‑task in a high volume and demanding environmentStrong computer skillsStrong problem‑solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.Work Experience: 2 YearsDegree: Professional / TechnicianLanguages: Spanish / EnglishLanguage Ability: HighWhat we offerCompetitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits packageExcellent Training and Development opportunitiesComplimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and ResortsComplimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee UniformsComplimentary Employee MealsDiscounts at our hotel restaurantsDiscounts on local servicesPossibility of accommodation and transportation to work (at a reduced cost)Schedule & HoursSeasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).#J-18808-Ljbffr
