They are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join their team in Madrid or Barcelona. Although prior team management experience is not required, the role demands mentoring and coaching skills.ResponsibilitiesLead the AI lab and develop AI products.Mentor and coach junior data scientists.Work cross‑functionally with stakeholders to understand business impacts of data.Design and implement machine learning solutions, including embeddings, generative AI, and LLM fine‑tuning.Handle calibration of unbalanced problems (RF vs XGB) and prevent data leakage with oversampling.Qualifications4+ years of experience with machine learning methodologies.Strong skill set in Python, R, SQL.Object‑oriented programming with APIs, AWS Lambda, crontab.Business acumen and experience working with stakeholders.PhD or Master’s in Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.AWS experience is a bonus.Contact: to discuss the company and position in more detail.#J-18808-Ljbffr
