We are looking for a motivated SAP S / 4HANA Stream Lead Development (m / f / d) to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center in this role you will lead the Development stream within our global greenfield S / 4HANA implementation driving the design and governance of the technical landscape. You will define scalable software architecture concepts manage cross‑functional development teams and ensure alignment with Liebherrs global template. LOCATION Please note that the working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we are currently setting up a new office location. Creating passion : your responsibilities Take ownership of the Development stream within our global S / 4HANA greenfield program ensuring alignment with project leadership and stream leads and the overall project management Lead and coordinate all development and software architecture activities including project governance progress monitoring quality reviews and regular reporting to ensure delivery excellence. Define and own scalable software architecture concepts for the S / 4HANA platform covering integration extensibility and security while collaborating closely with functional leads and stakeholder. Oversee the full development lifecycle : requirement scoping backlog management quality assurance and delivery of complex SAP developments including ABAP SAP Fiori / UI5 BTP extensions and CDS views. Establish and enforce global development guidelines coding standards and CI / CD practices to ensure maintainability and harmonization across global rollouts. Collaborate with process owners to ensure efficient future‑ready solutions driving continuous optimization of business processes supported by S / 4HANA and SAP BTP. Provide software architectural oversight on performance optimization troubleshooting and integration stability ensuring reliability of custom extensions and system performance Build a high‑performing multicultural development team fostering innovation knowledge sharing and collaboration across global locations Contribute to change management activities ensuring adoption of new processes and S / 4HANA solutions Support the creation of solution documentation leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence Contributing your strengths : your qualifications You are a proven leader with a strong background in SAP development and software architecture holding a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Your technical expertise leadership skills and communication style enable you to drive collaboration and delivery in complex environments 7 years of professional experience in the SAP environment with deep expertise in S / 4HANA development SAP BTP SAP Fiori / UI5 CDS views RAP model OData services and integration technologies. At least 2 large‑scale S / 4HANA projects in a leadership role. Proven experience with ABAP OO SAP Fiori / UI5 SAP Gateway / OData SAP BTP extension suite Cloud Integration (CPI) event‑driven architecture and DevOps tools. Skilled in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Experienced in strategic planning backlog prioritization sprint management and solution governance ensuring architecture decisions align with business strategy Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g. German) are an advantage. A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross‑functional teams. Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work.
