Your key responsibilities: Lead a team of 5-7 data analysts and model developers in charge of developing risk regulatory models. As a team leader you will lead the strategic direction development and governance of risk models across the retail portfolios of Mortgages and Consumer Lending ensuring that all modelling activities align with regulatory expectations internal governance standards and business objectives. You will play a critical role in supervising the development of IRB and IFRS9 (EAD PD LGD) and Credit decision models driving innovation in modelling practices and representing the modelling function in senior leadership and regulatory forums. The role requires strong leadership technical expertise and the ability to translate complex modelling outcomes into actionable insights for decision‑makers. Your ability to navigate senior stakeholder relations is critical as you will be the main point of contract for all modelling conversations with senior management regulators and internal stakeholders to communicate modelling strategy. Strong senior stakeholder management and communications skills. Ability to critically analyze complicated model outputs and provide challenges / recommendations. Pro‑active mind‑set. Focus on delivering pragmatic and feasible solutions. Fluent English and Spanish language skills. Availability for occasional travels to attend training or meetings in other ING locations.
