Job description We are a dynamic and fast-growing e-commerce company of 45 passionate professionals based in Barcelona. We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead our people strategy and ensure our HR initiatives continue to support business growth, employee engagement, and compliance with Spanish labor laws.As the HR Director, you will play a key role in driving our HR vision, maintaining the solid foundations already in place while continuously improving our processes, culture, and people development programs. As the HR Director, you will: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals. Supervise all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll, and compliance. Ensure full compliance with Spanish labor laws and internal policies, anticipating and mitigating legal risks. Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, advising on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management. Oversee compensation, benefits, and health & safety programs, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with company culture. Foster a strong performance and feedback culture, supporting managers in developing and empowering their teams. Promote a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture where people can grow and thrive. Analyze HR data and metrics to guide decision-making and provide actionable insights to management. Mentor and support the HR team member(s), ensuring continuous development and growth. Ensure smooth office operations and a strong workplace culture, overseeing daily logistics, employee well-being, and team engagement initiatives to make Netenders a great place to work. To perform, you need: Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a senior HR role, ideally within the e-commerce or digital industry. In-depth knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR best practices. Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken); French is a strong plus. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic mindset with hands-on experience in operational HR management. Ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term people strategy. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
