HR Generalist – Strategic Automotive Project Launch

Stellantis is seeking aHR Generalist to join our team in Zaragoza.The HR Generalist supports the launch and ramp‑up of a strategic automotive manufacturing project, Zaragoza, Spain. Provide end‑to‑end HR support, establish HR foundations in a start‑up / launch context, manage labor relations, and partner with operational teams.The role includes responsibility for employee and labor relations, and effective use of HR digital systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide HR generalist support during the launch and scale‑up of new manufacturing activity.Partner with management to define organizational structures, staffing plans, and workforce requirements.Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and capability‑building initiatives. Oversee employee relations, training, performance management, internal communication, and HR administration.Labor Relations & Union Interaction / negotiation.Monitor compliance, workplace climate and identify potential labor risks early.Manage HR processes through Workday, ensuring data accuracy, workflow execution and reporting.Contribute to change management, transformation projects and HR digitalization efforts.Ensure alignment with corporate policies and compliance standards.Promote and ensure a safe, inclusive, and collaborative working environment (incl. risk assessment, Supply technical prevention activity consultation and medical services).Required Qualifications8–10+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in an equivalent role, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.Experience in project management or participation in industrial start‑up / launch activities.High degree of autonomy, organization, and problem‑solving.Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment law and HR operations.Practical experience working with Workday or similar HRIS platforms (data entry, workflows, reporting, performance, absence, recruiting, etc.).Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.On‑site availability in Zaragoza.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the automotive industry.Experience in large‑scale industrial projects, start‑ups, or greenfield environments.Experience managing HR metrics and KPI reporting.Advanced user of Workday (e.g., reports, dashboards, mass uploads, supervisory organization management).Cross‑functional coordination capability and proactive approach, with strong cross‑culture communication skills.
