KIKO MILANO is looking for a Retail Operations & Facilities Trainee to join our Real Estate & Facilities team based in Madrid.
This role will provide support to our retail operations across Spain and Portugal , making fluency in both Spanish and Portuguese essential . Working alongside the Facilities Specialist, you will gain hands-on experience in maintenance management, supplier coordination, store operations, and retail facilities projects within an international environment.
Whether you are a Portuguese speaker already living in Madrid, a candidate based in Portugal interested in relocating, or a Spanish speaker with strong Portuguese language skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Support the management of preventive and corrective maintenance across retail stores.
- Assist in supplier coordination, quotation reviews, and service quality control.
- Monitor and follow up on maintenance requests, incidents, and internal tickets.
- Collaborate on store improvement projects, including facilities, equipment, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Prepare and update reports related to maintenance costs, OPEX, and CAPEX.
- Support Health & Safety compliance within the retail network.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent store operations across Spain and Portugal.
- University degree or Higher Vocational Training completed in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Business Administration, Operations, Facilities Management, or similar.
- Availability to work full-time.
- Fluent Spanish and Portuguese (mandatory).
- English B2 level or above.
- Strong interest in Retail Operations, Facilities Management, Maintenance, or Real Estate.
- Previous experience in Retail, customer-facing environments, or administrative roles will be highly valued.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Availability for occasional travel within Spain and Portugal.
- Paid 1-year internship with the possibility of a permanent position afterwards.
- €950 gross/month meal allowance holidays additional benefits.

- Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00 -- 18:00
- Friday: 09:00 -- 15:00
