Overview
As Staff Engineer for the Docplanner Marketplace, you set and shape the technical direction of a patient-facing platform used by millions. You lead the migration from a PHP monolith to a modern monorepo, building reusable building blocks and clear contracts for cross-service integration. You mentor teams, own design and quality, and push AI-native engineering to accelerate delivery. This role offers impact across search, profiles, listings, and bookings within a global, remote-friendly company.

Responsabilidades
- Define target architecture for the Marketplace across search, listings, profiles and booking flow
- Lead the monorepo migration strategy using strangler pattern, anti-corruption layers, and staged data migration
- Move domains to native ownership in the monorepo (data, business logic, persistence)
- Create reusable Marketplace building blocks with clean contracts for cross-product consumption
- Prototype high-risk migration work using AI coding agents and establish design and quality standards
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to unblock cross-team work and mentor senior engineers
- Contribute to Docplanners Staff+ community of practice and maintain technical standards across areas
- Deliver AI-assisted workflows for migration and integration that scale across teams
Requisitos principales
- Led technical direction across multiple teams with production impact
- Experience decomposing large legacy systems using strangler pattern and anti-corruption layers
- Strong backend architecture and distributed systems knowledge in a polyglot environment
- Hands-on experience with AI-accelerated software development and guiding AI agent usage
- Exposure to monorepos at scale, build tooling, and shared platform conventions
- Fluent English
- Mentoring and lifting the engineering teams capabilities
