Your Role And Key Responsibilities This position will be part of our Operations Department , the heart of PowerCo — where innovation becomes reality. This area brings together multiple teams working on the construction of our gigafactory and the different stages of battery cell production. From engineering and design to process optimization and production excellence, Operations is where the future of energy takes shape. You’ll join Coating, Calendering, Assembly, Formation & Aging , or the Quality Laboratory to ensure every cell meets the highest standards. In Your Day‑to‑day, You Will Perform quality inspections and tests per control plan (first piece, in‑process, final), record data (SPC), and escalate non‑conformities. Operate and verify measurement/testing equipment (set‑up, checks, basic calibrations) and apply 5S and area cleanliness. Collect and prepare samples for in‑line and lab testing; review reports and follow up on actions. Support root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation, and carry out sorting/rework when required. Contribute to internal/external audits, continuous improvement (CIP), and safety initiatives. What You Bring To The Team Vocational/technical education in materials, chemistry, machining, manufacturing, automotive, or similar. 2–3+ years’ industrial experience in production, quality, or laboratory (battery or related industries a plus). Knowledge of quality control (control plan, non‑conformities, basic measurement; MSA/SPC is a plus). Attention to detail, teamwork, and basic digital skills. Willingness to work in Sagunto. While some teams are currently based in Valencia, operations will progressively move to Sagunto, so we require availability from the start. Willingness to work rotating shifts. What Makes You Stand Out Experience in Coating, Calendering, Assembly, Formation & Aging, or lab testing (chemical, physical, mechanical, CT). Ability to read technical drawings, GD&T, metrology, and use of microscope/CMM. Fluent English, both spoken and written. Possession of a disability certificate of 33% or more is valued.
