Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

**How you will CELLebrate**

As Head of Laboratory, you will report directly to the Head of Quality. In this role, you will be responsible to build up, management and leading your Department to achieve all targets of Project, Department and Company. You need recognize the different tasks and responsibilities in different phase of project and must organize the resources.
- Selecting personnel for your area of responsibility and briefing personnel on job-specific and orga. matters.
- Delegating tasks and authorities to suitable personnel and setting priorities.
- Motivating, informing, advising, and supporting personnel.
- Evaluating personnel performance and working behavior.
- Guiding personnel relating to working behavior and performance.
- Developing and promoting personnel.
- Addressing complaints - Monitoring compliance with guidelines and regulations, such as work regulations, occupational health and safety regulations, instructions issued by management.
- Initiating recruitments, dismissals, internal transfers, and relocations with due regard to the applicable legal, collectively agreed, and operational regulation.
- Managing personnel placement in terms of job-specific matters and organizational procedures.
- Creating draft references and interim references.
- Defining, approving, and implementing suitable personnel placement strategies in exceptional situations.
- Responsible to make decisions for ordering and implementation of the right Laboratory equipment.
- Responsible to make decisions for build up and development of the Laboratory (Plan, layout, systems, organization chart, budget, management system).
- Has to make decisions of the right use of the approved budget.
- Make desicions of the right training and qualification plan.
- Responsible to take decisions of acceptance of the Material based of the Analysis.
- Take decisions of using or blocking of materials.
- Colaboration with the PowerCo SE Quality Operation and R&D Department to develop test methods.
- Colaboration with external certificate companies like TUV Nord, VDA to get the laboratory accreditation.
- Responsible for build up and development of the Laboratory (Plan, layout, systems, organization chart, budget, management system).
- Responsible to develop the Laboratory to get the accreditation by VW Group´s Laboratory Audit.
- Responsible to Implement, revise and supervision of process standards and work instructions for dedicated areas.

**What you need for our CELLebration**
- German language skills are considered an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Experience in managing people of more than 5 years
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong aptitude for operational and equipment optimization.
- Strong expertise in Quality
