About the job:
Objective:
To design, implement, and manage analytical solutions that facilitate investment tracking and support strategic decision-making in the area. This integral role encompasses everything from developing analytical tools to their exploitation, including managing data on investment evolution and market trends, in order to generate relevant insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
This position is categorized as Associate.
Areas of Impact:
Monitoring and Evaluation of the Investment Portfolio: Design metrics, KPIs, databases, and dashboards for tracking the evolution of funds, their participations, and the aggregated portfolio.
Business Development Analysis: Generate key insights on business opportunities and their follow-up.
Strategic Market and Investment Trend Analysis: Anticipate market trends that may impact investment strategy and the evolution of relevant sectors and business models.
Support to the Financial Function of the Society: Contributing with prospective analyses of the portfolio's evolution based on different scenarios.
Key Functions:
Generation of Strategic Insights: Define relevant analytics and metrics together with area managers to extract strategic information and offer high-impact recommendations.
Development of Dashboards and Visualizations: Create and maintain dashboards using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, MicroStrategy) that provide a clear and actionable view.
Process Automation: Optimize repetitive processes through automation, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
Information Structuring: Design and manage processes for collecting and structuring data from various sources, ensuring quality and consistency for strategic analyses.
About You:
We are looking for a person with initiative, versatility, teamwork ability, and excellent interpersonal skills. This role involves close interaction with the BVI team, key stakeholders of BBVA Spark and the BBVA Group, participating funds, and other market players.
Ideal Profile:
Academic background: Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or STEM areas.
Professional experience: Over 3 years in investment banking, consulting, investment management, or related areas.
Technical skills: Experience in programming (Python or other languages) and data analytics and visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, etc.).
Languages: Advanced level of English.
