Overview ADP is hiring a Payroll Portuguese Specialist. In this role, you will work with a portfolio of Portuguese payroll clients based all over the world from 1 to 2000 employees. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll: Manage the assigned client portfolio, complying with the deadlines agreed in each process and ensuring optimum quality in the results delivered. Ensure legal compliance, in accordance with current regulations, in all processes carried out and proactively seek improvements that can ensure greater quality or efficiency in the service. Participate in internal projects to implement new tools or processes. Be responsible for ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, with attention to payroll updates, tax laws, benefit plans, deductions, and labor regulations. Learn about payroll system upgrades, automation tools, or reporting features. Integrity, resilience, positivity, and attention to detail are must-haves for this job. To Succeed In This Role Detail oriented: you can focus on small aspects of a task while ensuring accuracy and completeness. Proactivity and initiative: identify and solve problems early, take action without being told, seek opportunities for improvement, take responsibility, and implement ideas. Planning and organization: set clear goals, manage time effectively, create structured plans, keep things orderly, anticipate challenges, and adapt when necessary. A college degree is great but not required; the important part is having the skills to do the job. Experience & Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in a similar position Knowledge of Portuguese labor law Knowledge of payroll and HR software and applications Advanced knowledge of Excel Experience processing more than 1000 payrolls Knowledge of DMR / Social Security Processing of new hires and terminations Bonus Points Portuguese (fluent) Spanish (a plus) English (a plus) Benefits & Why ADP Be yourself in a culture that values equity, inclusion, and belonging.
