Counsel / Contracts Negotiator Lead – SalesforceJoin Salesforce’s EMEA Sales organizations as a key legal partner, structuring commercial transactions and drafting and negotiating high‑value agreements for customers across Ireland and Spain. You’ll deliver rapid, business‑savvy legal advice under tight deadlines, collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, and drive process efficiencies and AI integration in line with the company’s strategy.LocationIreland (Dublin) / Spain (Madrid) – Office‑Based (3 days a week minimum)Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead on deals, collaborating with revenue recognition, sales operations, and pricing stakeholders to streamline contracting and order processing.Integrate AI into daily work in alignment with Salesforce’s company strategy.Provide rapid, business‑savvy legal advice while managing legal risk and ensuring compliance across private‑sector transactions.Review, negotiate, draft, and drive fast turnaround on high‑value agreements (cloud, SaaS, NDAs, data‑processing addenda, AI transactions).Partner with sales, privacy, and security teams to ensure smooth deal execution and alignment with internal policies.Advise on contract disputes, regulatory inquiries, and minimize legal and operational risks.Identify and implement legal process improvements to support rapid deal closure; develop and deliver training materials on relevant legal topics.Maintain a fun, positive, solutions‑driven approach to challenges while fostering kindness and humor.Qualifications, Experience and SkillsLegal experience : LL.B. or equivalent, licensed to practice in the EU or UK; 3+ years at a law firm or in‑house department.Contract negotiation : 5+ years of hands‑on experience with EMEA contracts in a law firm or corporate legal department.AI savviness and strong negotiation and drafting skills in technology transactions (SaaS, cloud, AI).Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent English (additional European languages preferred).Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Team‑oriented, collaborative mindset with a proven track record of building strong relationships with demanding internal clients.Familiarity and interest in technical concepts such as web applications, cloud computing, digital transformation, and AI.Highly adaptable, service‑oriented attitude, resilient, and eager to continually learn and develop professionally.AccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions, please submit a request via the Accommodations Request Form.Posting StatementSalesforce is an equal‑opportunity employer and maintains a policy of non‑discrimination with all employees and applicants for employment.
