**Job Description**:
A great new opportunity has arisen to join our European Legal team working on a wide and diverse client portfolio across Continental Europe, but focused mainly in Spain and Sweden. This role will give exposure to a wide range of challenging projects and contracts. We are seeking an aspiring legal counsel who is passionate about building relationships with key stakeholders across an organization who is adept at providing commercial, results-oriented legal advice.

As a key business partner, you will be actively involved in bid preparation, bid and contract negotiation, project support, potential claims and implementation of the Group’s internal policies.

Based in our Madrid office, you will benefit from having the opportunity to work flexibly to suit your needs. Our environment is dynamic and fast-paced and we require an ambitious, accountable legal counsel who is able to provide pragmatic legal advice whilst ensuring commercial goals are met.

**Job Duties**
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of business agreements, contracts and other legal documentation (including client contracts, bid agreements, memoranda of understanding, joint venture agreements, non-disclosure agreements and sub-consultancy agreements)
- Drafting board of directors and shareholder decisions and resolutions and powers of attorney and leading the legalization of corporate documents before the notary public and Commercial Register.
- Claims management, internal reporting and coordination with external counsel.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualification**
- Degree in Law.
- Fluent English and Spanish is essential. Other languages will be positively valued.
- At least, 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position within construction, infrastructure or engineering sectors (in-house or in a law firm).
- Proficiency knowledge of contracts and bids.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Proficient MS Office Programs user; must have excellent Word knowledge.

**Specific Skills**
- The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills and a pro-active approach, you should feel confident in this aspect as your role will involve daily interaction with senior level executives, as well as colleagues at all-levels across the Group.
- You must be able to demonstrate the ability to handle a varied and busy workload and be prepared to explore and adopt innovative working methods in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
