Job Description We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our design team within a dynamic consultancy environment. The role focuses on the design and management of civil infrastructure projects in water supply, drainage, and water & wastewater treatment. Responsibilities Project & Design Leadership in Water InfrastructureLead the design process from project planning to execution and closure. Multidisciplinary Team CoordinationManage and inspire multidisciplinary design teams. Coordinate with various EC offices for multidisciplinary and/or multicentre projects. Design Process ManagementOversee design stages from concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications. Monitor progress, conduct review meetings, and adjust plans as necessary. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain high standards of design quality and compliance with AECOM’s quality principles and industry regulations. Budget and Resource OptimizationManage design budgets, ensuring cost‑effective resource use and identifying savings opportunities. Project Documentation & ReportingMaintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle. Prepare and present regular project reports to internal teams and stakeholders. Adopt AECOM Project Delivery Procedures and standards. Qualifications +10 years of experience; USA and Canada experience preferred. PMP certification is a plus. Extensive experience as a Project Manager or Design Manager in civil infrastructure projects focusing on water supply, drainage, and/or wastewater treatment. Strong leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
