This role is critical for ensuring seamless integration and performance of 3G, 4G, and 5G core systems, driving innovation and reliability in next-generation networks. Detailed Job Description As a Core Network Engineer, you will join a high-performing team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core network solutions. You will work closely with Huawei technologies, including SBC, IMS, and 5GC, to deliver robust and scalable network infrastructure. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge telecom projects, collaboration with global experts, and opportunities to shape the future of mobile connectivity in Spain. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and optimize core network elements for 3G, 4G, and 5G systems. Implement Huawei core network solutions (SBC, IMS, 5GC) in live environments. Perform troubleshooting and resolve critical network issues promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. Provide on-call support during emergencies and special operational periods. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field. Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Strong understanding of 3GPP standards for 3G, 4G, and 5G communication. Hands-on experience with Huawei core network projects. Ability to work overtime during critical incidents and provide standby support when required. Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of VoLTE and VoNR technologies. Familiarity with cloud-native core network architecture. Experience with network security protocols and best practices. Certification in Huawei or other telecom vendor technologies.
