Our client, a leading global IT service provider, is recruiting a ** Routing and Switching IT Engineer ** to join their pro ject in ** Europe.**

- Lead specific migration projects from customer legacy network to Client SDN network.- Audit legacy network environment and output migration strategy and plan.- Technical Customer interface to report migration project status- Prepare MOP procedures to perform migrations- Execute migrations during night shift including weekends- Audit legacy network (Cisco, Juniper and Dell) to define migration strategy plan- Prepare MOP procedures with detailed migration plan- Prepare Client SDN network to perform migration from legacy to Client.- Perform migrations from legacy to Client SDN.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or other related field of study.- Minimum 4 years’ experience in commissioning, operating or maintaining IT datacenter networks- Solid Knowledge of TCP/IP- Strong understanding and experience in Routing & Switching (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, VLAN, STP, etc)- Hands-on experience in carrier networks and multi vendor environments- Experience in SDN-LAN Networks (VXLAN, BGP EVPN, SPINE/Leaf architecture) is a plus- Experience with Security (IPSEC, NAT, Firewalls) is a plus- Experience in Telefonica Spain systems and processes is a plus- Knowledge in English (spoken, written) is preferred but not mandatory.
